In 1996, the National Roofing Contractor Association
(NRCA) presented Marlin Potteiger with the American
roofing industry's highest honor, the J.A. Piper Award
" in recognition of devoted and constant outstanding
service."
Following the leadership of former National Roofing
Contractor Association (NRCA) President (1988-89)
and Potteiger-Raintree, Inc. founder, Marlin
Potteiger, the Potteiger-Raintree management
team has remained extremely active in the nation's
premier roofing association. In 1997,Potteiger-Raintree
proudly joined the Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress
as a Charter Governor "in recognition of visionary
leadership in the creation of the foundation endowment
fund and for extraordinary commitment to the roofing
industry as it seeks to meet the challenges of the
future through research and information for the benefit
of the industry and the American public."
Continued involvement
in many roofing associations and business organizations
has kept Potteiger-Raintree informed about the ever
changing roofing/business environment. Our association
with all these organizations continues to educate
the company with changing government regulations,
health and safety issues, technical assistance and
product knowledge. All roofing and waterproofing work
completed by Potteiger-Raintree is in strict accordance
with NRCA's Roofing and Waterproofing Manual. Sheet
metal and metal roofing work is performed in compliance
with the nations's leader in sheet metal activities,
the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Association.
